Strawberry Basil Fizz
A light, refreshing cocktail with just the right amount of sparkle.
Ingredients (serves 4):
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
- 6 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tbsp honey or agave (optional)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 6 oz vodka (or gin)
- Sparkling water
- Ice
Instructions:
- Muddle strawberries and basil in a shaker with lemon juice and honey.
- Add vodka and ice, then shake until chilled.
- Strain into glasses over fresh ice.
- Top with sparkling water and garnish with a basil sprig and strawberry slice.
JVN Tip: Make a mocktail version by skipping the alcohol and adding a splash of lemonade before topping with sparkling water.
