Jamie Van Noord is the Founder and Principal Designer at Jamie Van Noord Design. Jamie was born and raised in Michigan where she graduated from both Central Michigan University and Oakland University. She holds a Masters Degree in Educational Studies. Jamie has a passion for working with others and her attention to detail and organization are unmatched. With a deep understanding of textiles, pattern and styling Jamie brings an elevated and luxe feel to each project. Jamie is approachable and thoughtful with clients; making each home feel tailored and customized. Outside of work, Jamie is a wife and mom of two. Jamie spends her free time reading and travelling.

April Smith

Designer

April Smith is a Senior Technical Designer at Jamie Van Noord Design, where she brings a deep understanding of construction detailing, interior documentation, and 2D/3D visualization to every project. With extensive experience in residential design, April supports the full design process, from space planning and layout development to selecting materials and finishes that bring a project’s vision to life. She produces clear, buildable drawings using both CAD and SketchUp, helping clients and contractors stay aligned through detailed plans and 3D visuals. Known for her collaborative spirit, technical precision, and thoughtful approach, April is a trusted partner to clients, architects, and builders alike. Outside of work, April is a wife and mom of two. She recharges by spending time outdoors with friends or working on DIY projects.

Jackie Hoftiezer is currently studying Marketing at Grand Canyon University. Originally from Wisconsin, Jackie brings a strong work ethic and creative mindset to her role on the team. She supports a wide range of marketing initiatives and assists with day-to-day projects that help keep operations running smoothly. She also manages all of the team’s social media accounts and blog content, ensuring consistent, on-brand communication across platforms. Her attention to detail and enthusiasm for digital marketing make her a valuable asset. Outside of work, Jackie enjoys exploring new places, connecting with friends, and staying up to date on the latest trends in social media and branding.
